Flag Day Ceremony
June 14, 2005
Marion National Cemetery

The weather was beautiful and over 100 people, several from The Garden Club of Marion were at the cemetery to enjoy the 1st Flag Day Ceremony held there. The program was excellent and the parade bringing in the special attendees was wonderful.

The Caisson with its Quarter Horses was magnificent and the Riderless Horse very impressive. According to the information they had at the site last night, this is one of only two Caissons in the United States, the other being the one at Arlington in D.C.

I am including several pictures here and the full set can be viewed at:  www.picturetrail.com/judyf
I hope you enjoy them.
